Keep your chin up, Noelle! You're doing a great job :)
Thanks Tammy ^^
Hi Noelle! Just joined blogspot :)
Don't lose hope! It took me about 6 months to find a job. It's all a numbers game in the end.
By applying to many jobs you'll get a good understanding of the interview process, what to expect from them and how to improve after each interview.
What kind of jobs are you applying for?
I'm currently working for the ATO and i highly recommend 'How to Write and Talk to Selection Criteria' by Dr Ann Villiers.
It's aimed for those wanting to apply in the Australian government sector.
Good luck! x
Thanks Sarah ^^
Wow ur at the ATO atm? In what kind of position? I've applied for the ATO graduate position. Currently at the cognitive testing stage ><
Yes its definately difficult and I know a lot of people have been through the same troubles as I'm in now.
I'm currently apply for graduate positions. Mainly Generalist, Management Consulting, Health and Safety and Government positions. Hopely I will have some luck soon.
I will definately try to check out the book you have recommended.
Welcome to Blogspot!!
yup i'm in the current grad program for 2011.
When's your assessment? =)
Check your fb inbox for more info about the cognitive testing stage.
Good luck!
We don't have a permanent position in our first year as we rotate in 3 areas.
Two of the rotations are within certain business lines and the 3rd is in the call centre for 3 weeks.
I'm currently in the Promoter Risk and Intelligence (PR&I) team within the Aggressive Tax Planning (ATP) business line. A bit of a mouthful huh? lol
